Smoky Mountain Center works in partnership with a Community of Providers to ensure that
a full range of services and supports are available close to home to individuals in need
of mental health, developmental disability and substance abuse services and supports.
Smoky Mountain Center staff can offer:
- Immediate emergency services at The Balsam Center for Hope and Recovery –
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Walk-In and emergency assessment of emotional, behavioral or developmental
problems at a local Center.
- Initial screening and connection with treatment services.
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
- Linkage with peer support and respite.
Through our Community of Providers you and your family may receive:
- Evaluation and assessment of emotional, behavioral or developmental problems.
- Individual, group and family therapy.
- Substance abuse education and treatment.
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
- Special programs for court involved youth and adults.
- Community-based individual and family support.
- Rehabilitation, life skills and vocational training.
- Residential or group home services.
