General Statement of the Job :

|
To Support and Implement the Methamphetamine Initiative
|
|
Essential Job Functions :
|
|
Methamphetamine Initiative: Work closely with the DMH/DD/SAS to support the Matrix Methamphetamine Treatment initiative and local Department of Social Services, Law Enforcement, Probation and other community partners to link individuals who are stimulant dependent in rapidly accessing the appropriate level of care and services and providing wrap around services to family members including children. Will work with providers and SMC staff to develop service continuum that provides short-term crisis management of cases including linkage with other agencies as appropriate, contingency management programs, housing alternatives, etc. as funding allows. Provide targeted monitoring to support ongoing implementation of Matrix Program as a Matrix Key Supervisor or under the supervision of a Matrix Key Supervisor. Will monitor to ensure consumer receives adequate treatment and provide technical assistance for providers to support person centered planning. Will complete documentation associated with above activities as required including submitting data for quarterly State report and ensure quarterly Meth Matrix Report submission.

Minimum Training and Qualifications :
|
|
Master’s degree from an accredited school of psychology, social work, counseling or therapy and two years of social work or counseling experience. Supervisory experience preferable. Must be licensed in NC or license eligible in NC. Acceptable licensure includes HSP-PA, LCSW, LPA, LMFT, LPC, PhD or PsyD.
|

Physical Requirements :
|
|
Normal range of motion and reasonable physical health and strength will be required. Must have driver’s license and must be able to use computers, copiers and other office equipment will be used routinely.
|
|
Knowledge of Job :
|
|
Thorough knowledge of clinical psychology and social work principles, techniques, and practices, and their application to complex casework, group work and psychosocial problems and their treatment. Considerable knowledge of family and group dynamics and a range of intervention techniques. Considerable knowledge of governmental and private organizations and resources in the community. Considerable knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies which govern the program. General knowledge of the methods and principles of casework supervision and based on medical or psychological diagnosis. Skill in establishing rapport with a client and in client’s problems. Ability to supervise, trains, or instruct staff, students, or interns in the program.

Salary :
|
|
Grade/Step is determined by qualification and experience of candidate. Position is full-time salary with comprehensive benefits. Salary Range is $43,538 - $52,510.Work schedule is 37.5 hours per week. This position is exempt from overtime compensation.
|
